The story behind our visual identity by MIKESIAN Studio

A few months ago we asked Mike & Sian to help us with our visual identity and branding. Nailed it!

The magic with graphic design, and design in general, is the constant back and forth dialogue between the original purpose and its actual applications.


The frames offer both structure and flexibility, facilitating conversations between our community and the rest of the world. In their own word:
" Mike&Sian are curators at heart, bringing beautiful things from far off places to your doorstep. When working on their visual identity, we opted for a structured window system that showed this role, in which the brand would be able to show different visuals, photography or illustrations featuring whatever they were introducing us to this time round. A four way typographic system rounded things off, playing up to the brand’s blend of traditional ideas and contemporary practices. One thing would always remain consistent, the Le Social logo seen at the base of the grid, displaying it’s role as the platform for budding winemakers and businesses"
They also helped us finalise our Le Social Sparkling labels, which frame the artwork by Antonio Sanchez aka TONGUI
