Giuliana Vicini Cerasuolo, Chiara Ciavolich
Chiara Ciavolich, who makes these wines, does them in honour of her Grandmother. Guiliana gave her the land as inheritance so that Chiara could tell people her story, the story of the region but make them at a price accessible to most people.
In short, she was hidden away for most of her young life so that no one would marry her and so her father would have to pay a dowry. An act of cruelty redeemed.
The wines are purely delicious, textured and grown sustainably.
Producer Chiara Ciavolich
Viticulture & Winemaking Sustainable Agriculture. Hand-harvested grapes are, de-stemmed and crushed prior to fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wine stays in the temperature controlled vats till January, it's then bottled the following month.

Tasting Notes A dark and dramatic rosé made from the press of her red Montepulciano cuvée. Expect rich red fruit and cherry flavours, blood orange, and enough texture to pair with the best summer barbecues. An all rounder that keeps white, rosé and red drinkers equally happy. Incredible value too!
