Beaujolais Les Bulands, Justin Dutraive
It's amazing how much experience Justin Dutraive has been able to fit into his life so far! Justin's hard work ethic has seen him intern at wineries in Australia, Oregon and Burgundy alongside his legendary father Jean-Louis. With a wealth of knowledge under his belt he started his own venture and leased a plot of vines in Fleurie called 'Les Bulands'. Getting straight to it, his first move was to switch the land to organic methods. This way of agriculture is the only way Justin knows so was a top priority for him and his vines.
Justin's passion and experience shine through on his wines. He also follows his father's motto of "minimal intervention and maximum surveillance". This 2019 is his first vintage and from what we've tasted he is definitely one to watch!

Viticulture & Winemaking Organic viticulture. Hand-harvested grapes, go through semi-carbonic maceration. Natural yeasts with fermentation in sphere-shaped fibreglass containers. Low intervention and very little S02.

Tasting Notes A floral and fruit-driven Gamay of crushed raspberries and currents with a mysterious earthy undertone. A very juicy wine and is an absolute joy to drink.
