Chiara Ciavolich, who makes these wines, does them in honour of her Grandmother. Guiliana gave her the land as inheritance so that Chiara could tell people her story, the story of the region but make them at a price accessible to most people.

In short, she was hidden away for most of her young life so that no one would marry her and so her father would have to pay a dowry. An act of cruelty redeemed.

The wines are purely delicious, textured and grown sustainably.
