Taganana Tinto, Sortevera
The Sortevera wines come from the Taganana region in Tenerife. This new project is a collaboration between viticulturist Jose Angel Alonso Ramos and Jonatan of Suertes del Marques, and the wines are assembled from a patchwork of 100+ year old bush vine plots of indigenous varietals. Jose Angel has long been the go-to source for grapes from Margalagua, Amagoje and Fajanetas, the renowned vineyards made famous by wines from Suertes and the team at Envinate. Beginning with the 2018 vintage, much of this fruit has been redirected into Sortevera.
